The Columbia Association (CA) has proposed replacing one of its existing outdoor pools with a splash pad and additional community amenities, as discussed at the December 11, 2025, CA Board Meeting. The three potential sites identified for this project were Bryant Woods Pool (Wilde Lake), Talbott Springs Pool (Oakland Mills), and Jeffers Hill Pool (Long Reach). At this time, CA has not selected a final location.
In CA’s FY27 budget, $350,000 has been allocated to support the design phase of the project at whichever site is ultimately approved.
The Long Reach Community Association (LRCA) has submitted a letter to the CA Board of Directors regarding the consideration of Jeffers Hill Pool as a potential site.
