Long Reach Community Action and Resources for Environmental Stewardship (CARES)
Long Reach CARES aims to educate and enable neighbors to steward our private and shared spaces in sustainable and environmentally friendly ways. The committee holds and helps with many events throughout the year including sustainable landscaping tours, educational booths at various community events, native plant giveaways, Eastern Bluebird nest box monitoring, village trash clean-ups, pull & plants, bird watching, and more! MEETINGS: CARES typically meets on the fourth (4th) Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Meetings will be open to the public, but you must contact the village office no later than 24 hours before the meeting via email at for any virtual meeting links.
