Yoga for Golfers

Let’s get ready for the 2024 golf season!

Golf requires a combination of strength, flexibility, balance, and focus. So does Yoga. Boost your game! Explore the five parts of your golf swing through yoga movement -from backswing to impact and follow through.

Over this 8-week class, we’ll explore the five parts of a golf swing through yoga and work to lengthen and strengthen the muscles in our shoulder girdle, trunk and core, hip flexors and rotators, thigh and glute muscles as well as those in our wrists and forearms for greater mobility and stability. Taught by Kris Woodson, RYT200.

All levels of experience welcome. All participants will need a yoga mat, blocks, strap and a blanket. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

8-week class schedule: Jan 25, Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 15, Feb 22, Feb 29, March 7, March 14

Time: 6:30pm – 7:45pm
